Boerne has plenty of great places to eat, but when it comes to sandwiches, a few stand out for being bold, messy, oversized, or downright unforgettable. These are the sandwiches that come up again and again in conversations, comment sections, and repeat lunch runs.

Whether you’re craving heat, comfort, nostalgia, or something you’ll need two hands to eat, this list is a solid starting point for your next lunch decision.

That’s the question after seeing what Simply Cleaning Professionals did for the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce office — even President & CEO Kim Blohm said she didn’t know her “proud mom décor” office could look this clean!

Locally owned and operated, our new partners at Simply Cleaning Professionals specialize in commercial cleaning, delivering spotless results every time.

Owner Jeffrey Rakowitz and his team take pride in every detail, leaving spaces sparkling and stress-free.

The Hill Country Houndin’ fundraiser returns this weekend with a focus on honoring past Greyhound athletes while supporting current teams across all sports. The annual concert and fundraiser raises critical funds for Boerne High School athletics, including plans to purchase a new trophy case highlighting decades of Greyhound achievements.

The evening includes dinner catered by Smoke in the Hills, live music from Boerne High School students, auctions, raffles, and dancing. Proceeds from the event help fund equipment, programs, and resources that benefit every athletic team, not just one.

Have you noticed all the sculptures throughout the heart of downtown Boerne?

They’re part of a connected Sculpture Stroll created by our partners at Texas Treasures Co., designed as a walkable art experience along the Hill Country Mile. Each sculpture includes a QR code, so you can scan it on the spot to learn more about the piece and the artist behind it.

With a map, artist details, and the full layout available, this turns a simple walk downtown into something much more meaningful.

Volunteer Drivers Needed for Valentine’s Day Flower Delivery

Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center is looking for volunteer drivers to help deliver Valentine’s Day flowers on February 13–14 as part of its annual fundraiser. Delivery routes typically take 60–90 minutes, and volunteers play a key role in supporting Hill Country families through HCPCC’s work.

Those who aren’t able to drive can still support the fundraiser by ordering flowers through local florist partners An Empty Vase and The Flower Shop, with proceeds benefiting Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center. Learn more
