Boerne Resident Claims $5 Million Scratch-Off Prize

Just last week, we told you about how someone won the lottery a couple years ago in Boerne. Well, the Universe must have been listening, because lightning has struck twice!

A Boerne local is $5 million richer after snagging one of the top prizes in the Texas Lottery’s $400 Million Mega Bucks scratch-off game. The winning ticket was sold at Metro Stop on E. Blanco Rd—right across from Boerne High School. This marks the second of four top prizes claimed so far.

Local Italian Favorite Finds a Temporary New Home

Last week, we told you that Bella Sera was temporarily relocating. Today we tell you where they’re headed…

The popular Italian restaurant is relocating just a block over to 904 N Main Street, the former home of The Rocker Taqueria & Bakery. The move comes as their original building is set to be torn down and rebuilt.

No word yet on exactly when the move will happen, but pasta lovers can rest easy knowing Bella Sera isn’t going far. Stay tuned for updates!
